Enovate Design is based in the centre of the historic town of Chelmsford in the county of Essex. Chelmsford was recognised as the county town of Essex in 1218 and settlements in the area date back as far as 60AD.
Chelmsford lies 31 miles north of London and is connected by mainline railway to London's Liverpool Street Station with a journey time of 35 minutes. Approximately 10,000 commuters make the journey into London everyday, making Chelmsford the busiest through station in England.
Chelmsford has always been an important area for business and has been named as the "birthplace of radio", which adorns signs as you enter the town via major roads. This is thanks to one of the towns larger business residents, Marconi, who sent the first entertainment radio broadcasts transmitted in the UK from its' Chelmsford factory.
